Over the course of my artistic development, I have come to the realization that I am not the most consistent artist to say the least. The majority of what I do is inconsistent with my previous works. I am constantly changing the technique, medium, theme, purpose, mood, etc. of my artistic creations. So I unfortunately am not particularly able to elaborate on my artwork in much of a general sense.

      Consequently, I can only articulate that I generally create my artworks with the intention of using them as a method of communication. Art has become a second language to me in a sense. I very much enjoy using art in this sense due to my fascination with having the ability to convey a message without having to say a word.

Hello! My name is Samantha Reese and I’m a senior at Park Tudor High School located in Indiana. I am a graphic designer, drawer, ceramicist, and painter. I began to use art as a form of expression in middle school and since then, my dependency and love for it has only grown larger. I spend much of my free time in the studios and constantly draw where ever I go. Fortunately, I have had the great privilege of attending a high school with a large variety of fine arts classes. During my years at Park Tudor, I have taken full advantage of this and will end my high school career with taking a total of 11 courses in the visual arts department. Although I do not plan to have a career in creative arts, I do plan to take art classes in college, possibly even obtain a minor in fine arts. But regardless of the paths I take in life, art will always be an integral part of life.
